We met my senior year, while she was freshman trying out for the worship team I was leading at the time. Soon after she joined the team, we became fast friends and not long after that we started dating. We've been through a lot together and over the past three years, I've learned a few things about this beautiful woman.
Sam has a heart that almost overflows with bubbly joy. She's one of the sweetest and friendliest people you'll ever meet, and is one of the best friends I've ever had. She's got a servants heart and is always willing to help others, especially when it comes to teaching. She's got a real gift in that area. Whether its giving lessons in volleyball, leading as a camp counselor, or assisting those with special needs; I've had the privilege of seeing first hand what a patient, humble and generous woman she is with her time and talents. I can only imagine the impact she's going to have as she steps into her career as a teacher of elementary education in just a couple short years.
One other thing about Sam, she's has a deep love for Latte's, specifically Soy Chai Tea Latte's from Starbucks. If she's ever having a bad day, the one sure pick me up I know of is a Venti size of the drink she refers to as "Christmas in a cup".
